Recently, the Lanzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of Lanzhou’s smart factories for the year 2023, and Gansu Hailiang New Energy Materials Co. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hailiang New Energy Materials”) successfully made the list. This recognition signifies the acknowledgment and approval of Gansu Hailiang’s efforts in digitalization and marks the beginning of a new phase of comprehensive upgrading for its smart factory.

From the inception of its factory construction, Hailiang New Energy Materials established a digitalization concept based on the “three intelligences”. Its goal is to become an industry leader and a benchmark, striving to create the most advanced intelligent and digital factory in the industry, involving integrating digitalization throughout the entire process of capacity construction, production, sales, and management.

As of now, Hailiang New Energy Materials has completed the construction and operation of intelligent infrastructure for management and production, which led to the establishment of a digital system encompassing product design, intelligent production, automated testing and inspection, quality control, and traceable information for the entire business process. The total investment in building the smart factory platform has exceeded 170 million yuan.

With the ongoing release of production capacity, it is anticipated that the total investment in the smart factory platform construction will exceed 300 million yuan in the future.
