On November 21, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony between Hailiang and ZKH (Zhenkunhang) was successfully held at the Hailiang Research Building. In attendance were Li Jing, Sales General Manager of ZKH, and Dr. Qi Tianyu, Assistant President and Head of the Supply Chain Center at Hailiang, among others.

The collaboration aims to leverage the respective strengths and features of both parties, enhancing information exchange and resource integration. The focus will be on close cooperation in the digitization of industrial platform services, creating a mutually beneficial and sustainable strategic partnership.

This strategic collaboration further propels the implementation of the EVM (Electronic Vendor Managed) solution for intelligent warehouses across more than 20 production bases of Hailiang globally. Simultaneously, it inaugurates the online purchase API portal for industrial supplies, enabling one-stop online procurement and digitalized management, covering material matching, ordering, approval, execution, delivery, and settlement. Through big data and supply chain services, precise alignment and direct response to the needs of both suppliers and buyers are achieved. This results in zero-cost inventory and on-demand access, significantly enhancing the overall operational efficiency of the company, making it more competitively positioned in the global market.

Dr. Qi Tianyu warmly welcomed Li Jing and her team, providing a detailed overview of Hailiang's three decades of development history and its global footprint. As a benchmark and leader in the global copper tube and rod processing industry, the Supply Chain Center serves as the starting point for Hailiang Corporation's globalized business. It undertakes the crucial mission of building the company's core competitiveness, making the digitization transformation of industrial procurement a top priority for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.  ZKH is a digital industrial supplies service platform with a nationwide warehousing and logistics system. It has achieved transparent, efficient, and low-cost procurement and delivery of industrial supplies. Dr. Qi Tianyu pointed out that the strategic collaboration signing between Hailiang and ZKH is not only a robust catalyst for the strategic development of both parties but also an active exploration of industry cooperation models. Hailiang looks forward to jointly creating a new landscape in the supply chain field with ZKH, exploring innovative service models spurred by the digitization transformation of industrial procurement. Hailiang also hopes to empower ZKH as one of its first users to pioneer global service capabilities for overseas market expansion, achieving cooperation and mutual benefits.
