Recently, Liu Yong, Secretary of the Chuxiong Prefecture Committee in Yunnan Province, led a delegation to visit Hailiang's Shanghai base, where they were warmly received by Mr. Fu Haidong, the General Manager of Hailiang's Shanghai base.

During their visit, Liu Yong and the delegation went deep into the production site of Hailiang's Shanghai base, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the company's production processes and business conditions. They highly praised Hailiang Corporation for its stable development.

Mr. Fu Haidong extended a warm welcome to Liu Yong and his delegation, providing detailed insights into the current operational status of Hailiang and its Shanghai base.  As one of Hailiang's key domestic production bases, the Shanghai base has actively deployed the company's independently developed low-carbon intelligent fifth-generation continuous casting and rolling pipe production line, which has received the China Industry Award. The base is accelerating its efforts in deepening digital transformation.

Liu Yong provided a detailed introduction to the current development status and future industrial planning of Chuxiong Prefecture. Located in the central part of Yunnan, Chuxiong Prefecture is known for its reputation as the "gateway of the provincial boundary," the "throat of Yixi," and the "Sichuan-Yunnan passage." It boasts four world-renowned titles: "Hometown of World Dinosaurs," "Human Hometown in the East," "World Kingdom of Wild Mushrooms," and "Hometown of Chinese Peacocks." With abundant mineral resources, the prefecture produces various metal minerals such as copper, iron, and titanium. It possesses a well-established industrial chain for the mining, smelting, and processing of various metal minerals, forming a favorable upstream and downstream relationship with Hailiang's copper processing industry. Liu Yong expressed the hope that Chu xiong Prefecture and Hailiang could further deepen their cooperation beyond the existing collaboration in education and agriculture. He emphasized the potential for both parties to contribute to the development of Chuxiong's copper industry.

Officials from Chu xiong Prefecture in Yunnan Province, as well as representatives from Hailiang and its Shanghai base, accompanied the delegation during the inspection.
